Meet Stephen Braggs
Hello Gang,
This is Stephen Braggs and I am very blessed to return back to Austin Texas from my travels around the world. I can recall very vividly my freshman year in 1983 at the University of Texas how my life changed for the better, as soon as I stepped foot on the campus of UT and after my first practice with the Horns; I knew that my destiny had begun. Fred Akers and my teammates were very instrumental in my success path. I was a 4 year starter at UT with no big name behind me coming from High School, only the road of opportunity was before me. Everyone placed doubts and wonders about my ability and size. But I am the Little Engine That Could... I am the embodiment of the following champion characteristics: hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, perseverance, community support, role model, leadership and a clear goal path for a vision for success.
My journey placed me in the NFL for 7 years with Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins. Ownership of Burger Franchises and working as an Operational Manager at Disney World in Orlando Florida; to National Television PBS Business Consultant; to NFL Europe World Bowl Champion Defensive Coach Berlin Germany; to Head Football & Track Coach at 5A High School in Florida; to Assistant Austin Wranglers Defensive Backs Coach and Director of Youth Football Programs. But, the most gratifying of all my successful ventures is the Stephen Braggs Youth Foundation founded in 1998, with the sole premise of assisting youth in understanding the necessary success growth components on and off the field of play.Please continue with me on my final journey in life of in expanding spring & summer instructional league and summer developmental camps and business mentoring programs to assist our youth with the proper tools to compete in every arena of life...
